The Judas Personality: A Primer for Victims

Judas Personality: A Primer for Victims Have you ever been duped by someone who seemed nice and caring? Have you ever felt cheated, manipulated, or used by a significant other, relative, friend, stranger, or colleague? Has this left you confused, overwhelmed, and feeling bad about yourself? You may be or have been a victim of a sociopath. The Judas Personality defines sociopath and psychopath and delineates where this disordered personality ends and sheer evil begins. Are they one and the same? What are identifying features in sociopaths and in ourselves that can make us victims? Drawing on experiences of therapy clients and research of well-known cases, Dr. Lily Corsello explores antisocial personality disorder as it applies to the abusive individual as well as the serial killer, from biblical, social, and psychological viewpoints. Not surprisingly, such a personality is on the increase. How can victims get free? The Judas Personality also offers interventions for victims, including freedom from the sociopath. The Judas Personality: Dealing with Antisocial Personality Disorder and Its Victims from the Christian Perspective Judas Personality

delineates the fine line between what mental-health practitioners consider Antisocial Personality Disorder and what the rest of us would consider sheer depravity or evil. Is there a difference or are they the same? Many of us have known people who seem to be great at fooling even the most discerning individuals among us. This book gives all of the possible characteristics of those who are considered con artists and sociopaths, and how they can successfully manipulate individuals and societies with impunity. Cain, Judas Iscariot and the Antichrist all serve as biblical foundations for Antisocial Personality. True life portrayals of Jack "The Ripper," Adolph Hitler, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, and Timothy McVeigh reveal historical foundations for this pathological personality. What can family, friends, and society do? Surprisingly, there are only two lasting interventions!
